One of them is the ability to continuously test.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What does this mean? It means we can be more agile when making changes and testing results almost immediately.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year (2018), I wrote a post about validating <a href=\"https:\/\/ku-seo.com\/como-validar-ideas-negocios\/\" rel=\"noopener\">business ideas<\/a>. In the article, I mentioned how easy it is to create a website, a promotion, or a landing page and check if we have an audience interested in our ideas.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without having the famous <strong>minimum viable product<\/strong> (MVP), we would have a base of interested people, which is the best way to test if our ideas have real economic viability. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As someone dedicated to professional services, which is the core of my business, I am constantly looking for parallel income streams that allow for greater scalability. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of us who professionally deal with services know how complicated it can be to manage our most valuable resource: time. That&#8217;s why my post last month (<a href=\"https:\/\/ku-seo.com\/problema-del-tiempo\/\" rel=\"noopener\">the problem of time<\/a>).  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the digital world, we have many ways to monetize our efforts, but we must be honest and understand that achieving it is not easy; we must iterate continuously, which means being flexible. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In March 2017, I published a post: <a href=\"https:\/\/ku-seo.com\/objetivos-del-marketing\/\" rel=\"noopener\">What are the objectives of marketing?<\/a> where I simplified the process into one sentence: &#8220;to satisfy a person&#8217;s needs or desires through a product or service.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is this principle bad? Not at all; it is part of the roots of exchange and commerce.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have a negative image of the salesperson or commercial agent, as a kind of malicious, pedantic, and annoying person who calls you during siesta time. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviously, this image does NOT match reality. It is the product of bad practices by many companies that have lacked the <strong>imagination<\/strong> to create something different.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have already quoted this phrase from Zig Ziglar&#8217;s book, &#8220;Sales,&#8221; at least twice. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cSelling is a transfer of feelings. When you believe in what you are selling, you honestly feel that the prospective client will be the big winner in the transaction, you show genuine concern and interest in the client (\u2026) everyone wins!\u201d<\/p><cite> Zig Ziglar, 2011: 161<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people don&#8217;t feel comfortable selling. I see it a lot at networking events. Incredible professionals with amazing skills and experience, yet full of doubts. Why? That <strong>impostor syndrome<\/strong> that makes us doubt our own abilities.     <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ku-seo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dudas-testing.jpg\" alt=\"testing doubts\" class=\"wp-image-7670\"\/><figcaption>Thanks to <a rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/photos\/I967H-TOXjM?utm_source=unsplash&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_content=creditCopyText\" target=\"_blank\">Abnormal Species<\/a> from <a rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/search\/photos\/monkey?utm_source=unsplash&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_content=creditCopyText\" target=\"_blank\">Unsplash<\/a> for the excellent photograph<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not a day goes by when I don&#8217;t feel that syndrome. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I know that in <a href=\"https:\/\/ku-seo.com\/charlas-seo\/\" rel=\"noopener\">talks<\/a>, I can convey the opposite, complete confidence. But it is the result of a continuous process of &#8220;taming&#8221; my own thoughts and believing in my abilities, with humility, but honestly believing that I can offer something of value.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do doubts make sense? Of course, it&#8217;s the most normal thing in the world.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think I started to feel better about this aspect after an interview with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Joan Boluda (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/boluda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joan Boluda<\/a> on the excellent Membership Sites podcast by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bicicleta.Studio (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/bicicleta.studio\/podcast\/2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bicicleta.Studio<\/a>, where he discussed this syndrome and explained it very clearly: <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The best, by definition, is only one. The best in each field or discipline. This does not mean that there are no other good professionals. It&#8217;s like taking your child to the pediatrician; you don&#8217;t assume they will be the best pediatrician in the world.   <\/p><cite> Joan Boluda<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I found it a very valid and interesting approach. There will always be people who know more than you, but that doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t teach something valuable to others who may not have reached your same point.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are helping that person (whom you should think about!) to grow. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you believe in your product or service, and you don&#8217;t become human spam, you can offer something distinctive and valuable. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, the challenge from my point of view is <strong>not to confuse the method with your own essence<\/strong>. A mistake we can sometimes detect.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marketing provides us with a series of very useful steps and methodology to achieve our objectives, but we must return to its essence and consider two aspects: <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The problem or pain point you are solving<\/li><li>The differentiating factor that makes you unique and different from the rest<\/li><\/ol>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reading any marketing book is a delight if you like the subject. You enjoy them and want to implement everything you&#8217;ve learned, but I always remember a quote from Barbara Kahn: <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;The concepts of <strong>marketing<\/strong> are very simple to understand; the difficult part is applying them correctly.&#8221;<\/p><cite> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Barvara E. Kahn (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coursera.org\/instructor\/bkahn\" target=\"_blank\">Barbara E. Kahn<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a path we must continue on. If we make mistakes, it&#8217;s okay; we will learn from them, that is their true value. There are no absolute truths.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a continuous process, and you never reach a final goal. The most interesting thing is that your objectives will change as you learn more.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along these lines, I am very pleased to announce the launch of a service that I wanted to implement (and test) on this website.
