I still remember being in that Zoom call of WC organizers from Spain, before the pandemic, all of us, with more doubts than answers.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Today in  <strong>2023<\/strong>the Madrid group can make up for this situation and held a large event, with  <strong>620 people<\/strong>  who enjoyed incredible talks, workshops, in a unique space (La Nave), with cocido madrile\u00f1o, traditional porras, chocolates and churros and above all, a lot of partying, as characterizes the WordPress community in Spain.  <\/p>\n\n<p>We &#8220;Galicians&#8221; tend to stick together. Specializing in <strong>reggae and ska<\/strong>, small pleasures that I do not have at hand in my city.  <\/p>\n\n<p>To be able to enjoy international food with a wonderful ramen. In other editions I was accompanied by <a href=\"https:\/\/wajari.com\/en\/blog\/jose-luis\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"10457\">Jose Luis<\/a>. I was excited to revisit basic SEO concepts and explain them in real time with a website I made as a test for the occasion (very focused on love, I know, weird, but it worked).  <\/p>\n\n<p>I am grateful to the organization for having been selected. They sponsored our talk. It had never happened to me before and I was incredibly excited.<\/p>\n\n<p>As I said in the workshop, I felt like a <strong>diva<\/strong>. They made me happy, not because of the economic part (which is also), but because they are good friends, a company from <strong>Lugo<\/strong>, and they have always supported our community.<\/p>\n\n<p>I thank them for such a nice gift and it has been an honor to proudly carry the <strong>LucusHost brand<\/strong> not only for the quality of service I know they have, but for their values. Thank you \ud83d\ude4f!  <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>feedback from the workshop<\/strong> has been very positive. The room was full, there were almost no free seats, so I understand that I liked it and not only for the talk, but also for the <em>goodies <\/em>that I usually give away with the participation and questions of the attendees. He is a virtuous guy and one of the most important characters at any WordCamp.  <\/p>\n\n<p>He is a <strong>true hacker <\/strong>not only because of his technical skills, but because of his involvement in every aspect of WordCamps and the WordPress community in general.  <\/p>\n\n<p>His role as the <strong>official photographer<\/strong>, organizer, and facilitator of all WP groups is to be admired. Your <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/2023\/11\/05\/esta-no-es-la-charla-de-seguridad-que-quieres-oir\/\" rel=\"noopener\">short talk of<\/a> incredible <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/2023\/11\/05\/esta-no-es-la-charla-de-seguridad-que-quieres-oir\/\" rel=\"noopener\">security<\/a>. So a little gem that I recommend.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The one from one of the most sincere and funny Spanish-speaking bloggers: <a href=\"https:\/\/miposicionamientoweb.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rub\u00e9n Alonso<\/a>, wonderful: <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/2023\/11\/05\/wordpress-y-telegram-una-story-de-amor\/\" rel=\"noopener\">WordPress and Telegram, a love story<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Ruben is a virtuoso, a curious person and a good &#8220;<em>fuchicator<\/em>&#8221; who leaves us many valuable ideas.  <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atipicamarketing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marina Febles<\/a> &#8216; talk on <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/2023\/11\/05\/multipotencial-o-disperso-da-igual-reinventate\/\" rel=\"noopener\">multipotentiality<\/a> was super nice. It seems to me that she says out loud very important things that would help a lot of people. thanks Marina.  <\/p>\n\n<p>And although I could not see it live, I saw it later on video, the one by <a href=\"https:\/\/sara-fernandez.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Sara Fernandez, SEO consultant<\/a> is a gem. Title: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.tv\/2023\/11\/06\/que-es-el-sxo-descubre-como-unir-seo-y-ux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What is SXO? Discover how to unite SEO and UX<\/a>&#8220;I think the proposal is brilliant.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Also at the volunteer dinner we were talking and telling battles and differences between being a <strong>freelance SEO and working for agencies<\/strong>. I went through that arena at least 3 times.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I have already told our president <a href=\"https:\/\/sabela.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sabela<\/a> that the only thing I will ask her in our WC will be to put one of these gadgets. Pure fun with costumes and twirling? For me it will always be my favorite day despite hangovers and other results of tiredness and lack of sleep.  <\/p>\n\n<p>A very large contributor with a lot of participation. <strong>Fernando Tellado<\/strong> kicked things off by explaining what we would have that day.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Our <strong>WP TV<\/strong> table was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/javiersalinas.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Javier Salinas<\/a> who was working on the recording of the workshops and collaborating with <strong>Fernando and Julio<\/strong>, our friends from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desafiodigital.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Desaf\u00edo Digital<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>New people have joined the team, a great job that will be published on the same day <strong>32 talks and workshops<\/strong> will be published.  <\/p>\n\n<p>After lunch, people begin to disperse.
