I liked their clear, transparent proposal, that they worked by example, and also gave us excellent articles in their blog.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I was lucky enough to interview <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Davidkaufmann16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">David <\/a> over a year ago on my neglected podcast. And their projects and methodologies, I loved them.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I already knew back then that one of their goals was to create an <a href=\"https:\/\/seocrawl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEO software<\/a> they called: <strong>SEO Crawl<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>When David told me about it, I figured it would be a great tool for a simple logical reason: his team is made up of SEOs.  <\/p>\n\n<p>They have years of experience working with clients, so they know perfectly well the needs of working with projects for companies and professionals.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It took me a while to try their tool, and they launched a super cool <a href=\"https:\/\/seocrawl.com\/concurso-seocrawl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contest<\/a>, to which I want to do my bit by participating, giving my personal and professional vision of this interesting software.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s get down to business!<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Spoiler<\/em>. My idea is not just to do a software review. I will use the feedback icon if I consider things to improve, which I hope will help the development team for future versions.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Value_proposition\"><\/span>Value proposition<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>Let&#8217;s be honest, we use <strong>Google Search Console<\/strong>, but I don&#8217;t know of any SEO consultants or consultants that use the default SC charts because they are raw data, not designed to be very &#8220;usable&#8221; in reports.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For this reason, we usually export our reports to solutions such as <strong>Data Studio<\/strong> that allow us to perform analysis and draw more interesting conclusions.  <\/p>\n\n<p>On that need, I believe <strong>SEO Crawl <\/strong>has based its value proposition:  <\/p>\n\n<p>A way of working with search console (SC) data in a more efficient way and unifying functions such as project management and organization with work teams, something that is very useful as data of the website you put in your data.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Something useful to have the main KPIs in a dashboard: Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position.  <\/p>\n<div that make it very valuable and I will go into each point in more detail before analyzing the reports:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SC historical data <strong>storage<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A curious <strong>SEO forecasting<\/strong> function anticipating the month&#8217;s performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your own <strong>visibility index<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>color maps<\/strong> of the reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>(1) Historical data<\/strong>: We have to remember that SC has a <strong>time limit<\/strong>. It only stores historical information for up to <strong>16 months<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>With SEO Crawl we overcome this limitation without any problem and without worrying about downloads.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For that alone, the tool is worth a lot.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>(2) <\/strong>The subject of the <strong>forecast<\/strong> caught my attention.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I find it very useful to anticipate the <strong>SEO performance<\/strong> that a website will have in clicks or impressions with a very visual &#8220;dotted column&#8221; I have a hard time understanding how they group reports together and not having a <strong>breadcrumb trail<\/strong>, I tend to get lost, locating which report I am on at any given time.  <\/p>\n\n<p>There are 3 icons that seem to me to be report oriented and 4 workflow oriented:  <\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The control panel with 3 options: General, visibility and keyword map that I will explain in the next sections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The target icon where we will find: Keywords, changes, countries, pages and folders. In this group is another of my favorite reports, the page metrics report. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The trend icon with reports on new and lost KW, devices, opportunities and questions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tasks, backlogs and files (workflow)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SEO Insights: I really liked this one, it reminds me of the Google Analytics dashboards where (in the future) you will be able to create KPIs tabs with data on improvements or decreases in metrics. Currently it only shows you downgrades and upgrades of KW and pages in the top 3 search engine positions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sitemaps (in beta). It would be very useful to understand what the update is about without leaving the chart.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Keyword_map\"><\/span>Keyword map<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n<p>The <em>keyword ranks<\/em> or <strong>keyword map<\/strong> is a great tip. Is it a mistake or on purpose? \ud83d\ude09  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SEO_workflows\"><\/span>SEO workflows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>As I said at the beginning, the success I see for this tool is based on two keys: (1) data visualization and retention and (2) being able to unify team workflows.  <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>Every man for himself<\/em>&#8221; goes the saying, but I don&#8217;t know of any consulting firm or consultant, or agency, that can get by without organizing workflows.  <\/p>\n\n<p>To do this, we use external tools that will depend on the tastes and needs of each one: Notion, Todoist, Trello, Asana, Evernote, Calendar, a spreadsheet, etc. There are thousands of options.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I personally tend to be a minimalist, less tools. Possibility to add dates, descriptions, files, followers.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I often collaborate with other SEO professionals and we use Notion to track things very similarly.<\/p>\n\n<p>But here we would have everything centralized and working with Search Console data, which is the SEO tool par excellence.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conclusions\"><\/span>Conclusions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<p>I have tried to analyze (almost) all aspects of the tool and do a rigorous review.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;m missing some aspects, but it is undoubtedly one of the most complete tools currently available to <strong>streamline<\/strong> our SEO workflows and <strong>improve<\/strong> SC analysis and indicators.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It is not an SEO software that extracts data from other sources, and I imagine that in the future being able to incorporate other metrics, for example from <strong>Google Analytics<\/strong> would be a future possibility for growth.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I think they are on the right track. They have a clean, complete version that could improve your workflows, especially if you work in teams and\/or collaborations with other people.  <\/p>\n\n<p>I admire David, his work, his agency and I wish them the best of luck in the promotion of this software, which is born on the right foot and based on their own needs as a team dedicated to SEO projects.  <\/p>\n\n<p>So I imagine that each of the features developed so far, has been the product of a good reflection and a lot of love \u2764\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n<p>I hope my constructive criticism will help them to improve future versions of it and I say goodbye wishing them a long life and prosperity!
